Old Business

New Business
- Approval to
order 2 new uniforms-larger size, fabric, sash
- We need two
volunteers per day at band camp to help with water, set up,
sick kids, etc… Contact Mrs. Heard if you can help for a
day.
- We need help
setting up on the Sunday before band camp. Contact Mrs.
Heard if you can help.
- We may have a
cookout and “premier performance” on the last day of band
camp rather than the cookout/pool party. Mrs. Heard and Mrs.
Barnard will make that decision.
- We discussed
having some Thursday night practices so we can practice in
the stadium. Students will work on homework until 5:00, then
we will begin practice, finishing around 7:15 or so. We need
parents to donate snacks for these afternoons.
- Don Heard
resigned as treasurer. Benita Wortham was approved as the
new treasurer.
- Mrs. Heard
discussed some basic guidelines for chaperones. Printed
copies of the guidelines will be available at the next
meeting.
- Chic Fil A Bowl
was discussed. We are continuing to fund raise to help
finance the trip.
The next band booster meeting will be on Tuesday, August 4 at
6:30pm.
All parents are encouraged to attend booster meetings so you can
be involved, informed and you can help make decisions.
